- Amazing North Tanzania
Overview
The northern tourism circuit is by far the most popular safari circuit in Tanzania, Consisting of National Parks, game reserves, Conservation areas and private concessions.
The circuit starts in Arusha National Park at the foot of Mount Meru, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park at the bottom of the Gregory Rift, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (which includes the Ngorongoro caldera, the Empakaai Crater and the southern Serengeti plains of Lake Ndutu), and the Serengeti National Park that stretches north to the Tanzania/Kenya border
- Calving season Safari
Overview
The southern plains of the Serengeti turn green after the November rains and fresh grazing is just what the wildebeest need for their energy-demanding calving season. Within a two- to three-week period, roughly half a million wildebeest will give birth on the plains.
They’re joined by Elephants calves, lion cubs, wildebeest piglets, Zebra foals and much more. As plentiful water and food makes it easier for animals to raise their young…..it is heaven on Earth! It is also a great time for photographing – less dust in the air, great light, stunning sunsets, which is wonderful for both landscape and animal images.
